Background of Class Action Case

A proposed class action lawsuit is pending against GRATE LAKE RESTAURANTS I, LLC dba SMITTY’S GRILL, a Delaware limited liability  on behalf of all current and former non-exempt employees  and other related positions who worked for Smitty’s at any time from May 15, 2014 to the present.  Class counsel can provide you with further information regarding this lawsuit.  A copy of the Complaint can be requested from Richard E. The lawsuit alleges that Smitty's failed to pay all wages earned, failed to provide and/or pay employees for all meal periods and/or rest breaks, failed to timely furnish the employees with accurate, itemized and legal wage statements; failed to timely provide the employees with all final pay due to them at time of termination; and other derivative allegations.
